" Spoofs "

" Up to 99.5%  OFF "
A parody (also called send-up or spoof), in contemporary usage, is a work created to mock, comment on, or poke fun at an original work, its subject, author, style, or some other target, by means of humorous, satiric or ironic imitation.
Spoofs are big part of modern culture....
It is about the contemporary art market prices...I select works that broke the record on auctions and create a spoof of it using the "opposite" material of the original artwork. For example, if it was done with clay or plaster, I will use steel. If it was stainless steel I will use resin or fiberglass. The sizes vary too...I will enlarge, reduce or do it on the original size.
Since it is all about the price, I discount my pieces up to 99.5% OFF the original record sale price ...I'm OK with just 0.5% of it.
